Founded in 1943 by George and Bill Hunter, Hunter Woodworks is the industry leader in the production of all types of material handling products built to customer specifications. Hunter Woodworks started from a 1.5 acre facility in South Gate, equipped with just a few saws, hammers, and plenty of nails. In 1950, the company moved to a larger five acre location in Carson to better serve Hunter's rapidly growing list of customers. Following a period of consistent growth and prosperity, Hunter moved to its current facilities at 21038 South Wilmington in Carson in 1980. Featuring more than 10 acres, we have the largest pallet manufacturing plant on the West Coast. With 13 automatic nailing machines, and a complete milling operation, there is no job too big or small for our firm. |
