Milling

Our milling ability gives us the versatility to make better production decisions than our competition.  With one of the largest lumber mills in a pallet manufacturing facility, we have the choice of milling full lifts of lumber or buying precut lumber stock.  This allows us to keep our pricing more stable in light of rapidly fluctuating lumber market trends.

Our milling and material grading takes place upon our milling and resaw lines.  The grading of this lumber into three different categories (expendable, commercial, and quality) takes place on the milling line as soon as the material is cut and is identified and inventoried for use in nailing the finished product.
